The enterprise

The enterprise was founded by the guide and owner Marc Tremblay in 2000. Operations started at Jean-Larose Falls and then new sites were opened in Charlevoix Region.  He invented Ice Canyoning in North America (in 2006) and then developped a new sector in Vallée Bras-du-Nord in 2009.

Since its creation and without a national federation, Canyoning-Québec has the mission to favour development and safe practice of canyoning in Québec. Including exploration and rigging of new canyoning sites.

Canyoning-Québec offer canyoning in Charlevoix Region in partnership with Katabatik.

In 2010, Marc Tremblay joins with Mélanie Bisson to develop canyoning in Vallée Bras-du-Nord under the name of Canyoning-Québec division Portneuf (CQDP). Since 2015, Jessica Morin-Buote has now taken the wheel with Marc Tremblay to lead CQDP. In 2016, Éric Légaré joins with Marc to open a new spectacular site at le Massif de Charlevoix.
